A foreign person with a commercial project in France may apply for an entrepreneurial or merchant’s visa. You may establish your business as a sole proprietor, or as the legal representative of a French company or branch of a foreign company. These visas are very case specific. Approval shall be given based upon the viability of the project, and the amount of finances dedicated to the project (in particular the amount of monies or bank guarantees established on the French territory), and the profile of the candidate.
