A person of full age and capacity who has contracted a marriage to a citizen of Cyprus may apply for a Passport through Marriage after completing 3 years of marriage and harmonious cohabitation with their Cypriot spouse. Provided that the above mentioned provisions shall not apply where the alien entered or stays illegally in Cyprus. A marriage certificate, a certificate of cohabitation of the two spouses, a birth certificate of the applicant, good character certificate issued by police and particulars of the Cypriot spouse are attached.
