Further Details:

1. A Director or any other person taking an executive position the IBC (international business company) can apply for grant of permanent residence in Cyprus once IBC is registered in Cyprus.

There is a list of documents which needs to be presented to the competent authorities including the following:
- Copy of passport of the applicant and contract of employment duly stamped
- Certified copies of all corporate certificates of IBC
- Profile describing the nature of the company’s business, its objects and details of its office operations
- List of full names and details of shareholders of IBC
- A form showing current and potential employees of IBC
- A bank statement on the company’s account showing that the company has not less than 41,000 euro on the account
- Tenancy agreement showing title of ownership of a company in relation to the company’s office or sale contract. If one of the documents mentioned will not be available at the time the application is filed, it can be filed with the relevant authorities within 3 months.
- A bank statement showing that there has been made direct investment of capital from foreign shareholders into account of the company
- A bank guarantee for 350-800 euros in favour of the applicant, the sum depends on the country of applicant’s residence
- A clean criminal record (apostilled if necessary or stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of origin and certified by the embassy of that country in Cyprus)
- Medical/health certificate (apostilled if necessary or stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of origin and certified by the embassy of that country in Cyprus)
