Unrestricted Work Permits are non-transferable permits and are valid for 5 years for all of Austria allowing the holders to choose the employers, the type of employment and location anywhere in Austria

In the event of death of Austrian spouse, the widowed foreign spouse may immediately apply for an Unrestricted Work Permit, residence in Austria is
