Sweden - Work Skills & Ancestry - Simplified Rules for Foreign Employees
Foreign employees, employed by an international group, that will undergo practical training will also be exempted.
This means that as of 1 January 2010 persons that will undergo training, conduct tests, prepare or finish deliveries or participate in similar activities in Sweden as part of a business deal, will no longer require a work permit.
This also applies to foreign employees employed by an international group that will undergo practical training, on-the-job training or other in-service training at a company in Sweden which is part of the group. The exemption applies to a total of three months during a twelve-month period.
